Single and double deep selective rack: Most common in the market, where lift truck aisle access is separated with back to back rows of racking. |

Narrow aisle selective rack (VNA): Same as selective rack with the exception that with specialised reach lift truck, you can narrow the aisle size and maximize storage space. |

Drive-in: This racking system is made with series of tunnels where the pallets are supported on structural steel rails; lift trucks drive into any tunnel to load or unload the system. |

Push Back: The feature of this system is that each level of the system is made of nested steel rolling cart sliding on or in slope rails. To load a level, the lift truck operator will put the first pallet onto the top cart. They will then line up the second pallet in front of the first one and push against it. This will cause the first pallet to roll back and to free up the second cart so the operator can position the next pallet. The lift truck operator will repeat this action until the level is full. To remove each pallet, the lift truck operators will pick up the last pallet creating a slow forward roll back reaction of the other carts. This same operation is repeated until the level is empty. |
